GIVUL LP2

GIVUL LP2 is a medium modulus pre-vulcanised natural rubber latex preserved with ammonia. It can be used in many variety of dipping applications, casting, binding, etc. with good ageing properties. GIVUL LP2 is specially developed with low extractable protein (EP). Its unleached dry film has only about 30% (of it’s original) EP content compared to normal unleached dry film in the market. It is recommended to have 1 min. wet-gel leach at 55 - 60°C and 1 min. post-cure leach at room temperature with good running

Tensile Strength MPa 19.0 min. Elongation at Break % 800 min. TYPICAL DRY FILM EXTRACTABLE PROTEIN OF GIVUL LP2 Unleached 150 - 300 ppm. 1 min wet-gel leached and 1 min post-cure leached below 50ppm. APPLICATION GIVUL LP2 is suitable for all categories of dipping especially for glove and catheter, casting, binding, etc.. It provides high clarity and medium modulus properties to dipped products. It also gives excellent casting and good binding characteristic to other products. PACKING GIVUL LP2 is packed in non-returnable metal drums of net weight 205kg or delivered in bulk tank. STORAGE It is recommended to store this product under shade without exposure to direct sunlight at temperature below 35°C but not in freezing conditions. This will prevent the product from creaming and if this happens, stirring is required to re-disperse the cream. A properly stored product should have a shelf life of 6 -12 months. Longer storage than this period is not recommended. The EP will increase gradually during storage. It is recommended that usage should be within 3 months from the production date. Thereafter, longer than 1 min. post leaching is necessary to achieve EP below 50ppm in the finished products. No adverse physiological reactions have been observed when handling the product correctly and using it in the way suggested. Avoid direct contact with the skin and eyes. If latex is accidentally splashed onto the eyes, wash with plenty of running water and consult a medical doctor immediately.
